Melvin Gets the Call

Along with Claire Heskin Galway Hockey Club will be represented at this weekends senior Interpros by Grace Melvin this years vice Captain is deligthed to have gotten the call up. Both Heskin and Melvin share similar histories as they have both represented Connacht at every level of the game barr the highest. Another interesting fact is that they have both Captained their provence at junior age levels and this weekend will provide them with another oppertunity to added to their already illustrious hockey careers.  Its been already been a special year for the pair as they have already compete in their first ever European Championships in Portugal recently as they represented Galway hockey and helped them secure a 4th place finish in the club's first ever european adventure.
