Galway 2nds have been rewarded with a home tie against Old Alex 2nds in the quarter finals of the Irish Junior Cup. Commenting on the draw coach Richard Malone said "Its a tough fixture, but we are delighted to have gotten home advantage! At this stage every team is tough and Alex have already accounted for Three Rock Rovers and Lisnagarvey in previous rounds so we wont be under estimating them!". The tie is scheduled to played on Saturday the 28th of February just after Galway return from their european adventure which includes a number of seconds players such as Eavan Murphy, Freddie Timmins, Michelle Carey, Emma Glanville and Tara Browne to name but a few.
