Galway Hockey Club have advanced to this Saturday's Senior Cup Final to be held in Dangan at 12 noon.  Galway qualified for the final having seen off Galway's second senior team in the semi-final.  They will now take on recent Senior League winners Greenfields in what is expected to be a very close encounter.  Both teams are currently in top form with Galway fresh from their recent Examiner Cup win and Greenfields the current season league winners.  A close game is expected and we in Galway Hockey Club will be wishing Claire Heskin (captain) and the rest of her teammates the best of luck!
