Richie
Richie Malone, GHC Ladies Head Coach & Development Officer, has coached his Irish under 18 squad to victory at the 4 Nations in Garryduff over the weekend. It turned out to be a historic weekend for Irish Hockey not only because the boys and girls completed their first ever double at the U-18 4 Nations but also that Malone's girls side had their first ever gold medal at this level. Michelle Carey, a product of GHC’s youth development programme, made the under 18 success doubly important for Galway HC as a player in the Irish squad. All at Galway Hockey Club wish to congratulate Richie and Michelle on their success.
