Community Rules:
Every user who wishes to use Galway Hockey Club must provide a name and a valid email address upon registration. Therefore it will not be possible to hide behind an anonymous comment, forum post or article.
Usernames
Nothing offensive please or you will most likely be asked to change it or banned.
Please note that we don't tolerate:

Avatars
100x100, 10k max. Not annoying, not sexual, not offensive.
Signatures
5 lines max (if you use font sizes they will count as more than 1 line). Any bigger than that and it gets edited. Nothing offensive, no swearing.
Comment Rules/Discussion Board Rules:
Posts
Good: Constructive, well thought out, meaningful.
Bad: Offensive, flamebait.
Bad: Don't use leet speak, shorthand or excessive caps or punctuation. Don't quote an entire post to add a very short reply.
Bad: Don't overdo the color/sizes. An entire post in size 4 magenta is not a nice. Be careful with colours: there are different coloured backgrounds and it may blend in.
Very bad: Warez, porn, illegal stuff. Anything that would be considered 18+
Just annoying: Don't quote an entire post to add a couple of lines.
Individual Forums
It is strongly recommended you read any rules of individual forums before posting in them. Ignorance is not an excuse.
Bans & IP Blocking
Bans are an absolute last resort. We prefer to work with people to solve problems or complaints. However, a ban will be placed if it is deemed necessary.
Please remember that anyone on the Internet can read anything you post on this site so please think your comments through.
Admin/moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any posts or signatures, avatars or profile pictures if necessary. A reason will always be delivered to you in some way.
All in all, it's about common sense and decency. The main thing is you enjoy your experience here and maybe make some new friends

Video/Photo Rules:
The owner of Galway Hockey Club grants you the right to upload pictures on the server that will then be visible to and accessible by the public. Pictures underlie copyrights and third party rights. Solely upload pictures that you have taken yourself and that are certainly free of third party rights. The owner of the website rejects any responsibility for pictures uploaded by you and will pass on all third party claims that subject copyright violation or other forms of misuse. Any images that are in violation of copyright or do not cite the photographer/owner will be removed from the site immediately and user bans may be enforced. By uploading picture you give your explicit consent to this agreement.
