Galway Hockey Club Junior Boys

Congratulations to our junior boys squad who recently travelled to Dublin to take part in a national Under 12 blitz organised by the IHA. The blitz was followed by a trip to watch the Irish Men's hockey team play in a pool game in the Olympic Qualifying tournement held in Dublin. By all accounts, our boys did really well and the Irish coaches were very impressed with the skills levels of the boys. Particular congratulations to the coaches Alan Stephens and Mark Hickey for their good work. Thanks also to the parents who travelled with the boys to Dublin. Their support was appreciated.
